Job Summary

Job Summary

Responsible for oversight of the Academic Team (Department Chairs and class instructors) under the direction and guidance of the Executive Director. Provides leadership and coaching to the team. Works closely with all departments to make sure instructors are properly trained on policies and that they are consistent with the goals of the schools. Collaboratively working with all departments to ensure positive outcomes for students. Aids Human Resources with credentialing oversight in regards to compliance in appropriate assignments. Assists the Deputy and Executive Director with issues that arise and immediately report issues or concerns to the Executive Director. Is able to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, good judgment, and be respectful to others.

$1,000 Master's Degree stipend, $2,000 Doctorate stipend, and health benefits available. Full-time benefit allotment of $1,500/month for medical, vision, and dental. CalSTRS retirement. Job provides flexibility, creativity, and innovation. Connecting Waters is a TK-12 grade independent public charter school that services the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, San Joaquin, Stanislaus Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, and Tuolumne.
