REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal for Academics LOCATION: In-person on Campus in San Francisco, CA STATUS: EXEMPT, FULL TIME, NOT REMOTE SALARY RANGE: $85,000-$120,000 (Subject to experience and qualifications) Prorated for the period of coverage PRIMARY ROLE: Teach 5 SECTIONS OF SPANISH (should be able to teach across the curriculum) ONSITE, IN CLASSROOM SETTING A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IN THIS POSITION WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE: Position Overview We seek a dynamic and mission-driven Spanish Teacher who is passionate about teaching and committed to educating the whole student. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative learning environment, contribute to the life of the school beyond the classroom, and demonstrate excellence in instruction, communication, and professional growth. Responsibilities and Duties: - Teach Spanish across grade levels in a secondary school setting. - Design and implement engaging, rigorous lessons aligned with established curriculum. - Develop and utilize meaningful assessments to support student growth. - Incorporate educational technology effectively while maintaining a classroom centered on intellectual inquiry and active student engagement. - Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement in collaboration with colleagues. - Participate actively in a dynamic professional learning community. - Support the school’s mission by contributing to campus ministry and co-curricular activities. - Foster a positive classroom culture rooted in restorative practices and relationship-building. - Foster a classroom and school environment that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
