Job Summary
Under direction of site administrator, facilitate learning for pupils in grades TK-6 or a combination of elementary grade levels in academic, social, behavioral, and other educational skill areas; plan, develop, organize, and conduct a comprehensive educational program and physical environment specific to the focus of the magnet school and/or 21st century classroom; perform other related functions as required. NOTE: This posting will close upon receiving 25 applicants.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education, Experience, Licenses, and Other Requirements: - Valid California PK-3 Early Childhood Education Specialist Instruction Credential with English Learner authorization or equivalent. - Possess a baccalaureate or higher degree with an emphasis in an academic major or minor subject matter field commonly taught in elementary grade levels. - Certification and training in PBL, CGI, GAFE, GATE, differentiated instruction preferred. - Employment eligibility includes fingerprints, health (TB) and/or other employment clearance. - Must have valid California driver’s license and automobile available for use. Must be willing to attend evening, night, and weekend meetings and events.
