One (1) TK/Kindergarten Part-Time Instructional-Aide, placed on the Classified Salary Schedule Workgroup C; $17:30-$19.10. Position will begin immediately. This is a temporary position that will provide coverage while a staff member is out on transfer. The position may end at any time or extend based on staffing needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must pass the CODESP instructional aide exam, or complete 48 units of college credit, or posses an AA degree. A DOJ background clearance will be conducted. TB test and gradation from the 12th grade required. No experience required, but one year of working as an instructional aide in a paid or voluntary situation is desirable. Physical Requirements: Required the ability to lift 25 to 40 pounds occasionally and to be able to bend, reach, and work standing for short periods of time. Duties will also require the ability to supervise students on playgrounds in inclement weather.
