The IA’s primary responsibilities and qualifications are listed below. All IAs report to their site administrator (s). The IA is responsible for assisting in the development and performance of the classes they assist in. The IA will foster a collaborative and stimulating classroom environment for a diverse group of students, as well as foster a strong collaboration between parents, faculty members, board members, and community partners.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Prior experience working with students in a learning environment is preferred -Bilingual in Spanish preferred -Must be flexible, positive, detail-oriented, team player patient and willing to learn in a fast paced environment -Understand and follow oral and written directions -At times this job may entail lifting, walking, sitting and standing for periods of time
