SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS & STAFF Certificated & Classified | TK–8 Stone Bridge School, a public Waldorf charter school serving TK–8 students in Napa County, is seeking dependable, caring, and flexible individuals to join our on-call substitute pool for the 2026–2027 school year. We are seeking substitutes for both certificated and classified positions, including lead classroom teachers, subject teachers, classroom assistants, and student support staff. SUBSTITUTE ASSIGNMENTS MAY INCLUDE: Certificated Lead Teachers – provide classroom coverage, follow lesson plans, maintain classroom routines, and support student learning. Subject Teachers – provide coverage for subjects such as math, Spanish, music, handwork, movement, and other specialty areas. Classroom Assistants – support teachers with classroom activities, student supervision, transitions, and daily routines. Student Support Assistants – provide student and classroom support as directed by teachers and support staff. Classified/Campus Substitutes – provide short-term support for school programs and operations. QUALIFICATIONS Certificated Substitute Teachers Valid California teaching credential, substitute permit, or other applicable authorization. Teaching experience preferred. Elementary and/or middle school experience preferred. Classified Substitutes & Assistants Experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth setting preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff. Dependable, patient, flexible, and comfortable working with students TK–8. For all positions: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow school policies, classroom plans, and established routines. Commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for children.
