RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a part temporary, limited-term position to provide coverage during an employee's maternity leave. The anticipated duration is dependent on the employee's leave and may end upon their return. This position does not guarantee continued employment beyond the leave period. This position is Monday-Friday 9:15 AM - 1:15 PM. Assist with tardy students. Walk students to classrooms. Collect grade attendance records Prep snacks and eating area for lunch Serve breakfast. Supervise breakfast and/or recess and lunch Clean up after breakfast Walk students down and return them to classroom as needed Be available for custodial responsibilities as needed Set up for ceremonies Replace empty water containers in classroom as needed Runner for Villa, Loma and La Posada as needed May assist teachers in classroom as needed Cover TA's and office staff when absent or on break Assist Administration in contacting parents Supervise library- create library cards for each student, maintain library and supervise students Oversee volunteer hours Run copies for teachers May assist certificated employees in supervising students during field trips and special events ability to lift up to 25 lbs
