Part-time Paraeducator -PE positions are 3.75 hours per day, 182 days per year. Employees new to the District are allowed salary schedule placement credit for up to two (2) years of previous experience with a maximum salary schedule entry placement for step three (3). To qualify for a Paraeducator position, you must meet the State of California NCLB (No Child Left Behind) compliance requirement. When applying for this position, you must include proof of ONE (1) of the following with your application: 1. Passed CBEST 2. AA (Associates) or higher College Degree 3. 48 College Semester Units or higher (1.5 Quarter Units = 1 Semester Unit) 4. Proof of a passed NCLB Test with an employing School District* *If you do not already meet NCLB qualifications under #1, #2, #3 or #4 above, our District is offering NCLB testing by appointment only.
