The Human Resources Director supports the duties of the Superintendent and contributes to the effective, organized, day-to-day functioning of The Academies (Blue Oak Academy and Sycamore Valley Academy) by managing and maintaining the overall human resources department and operations. This individual interacts with staff, parents/guardians, and the public frequently, and must reflect the values and the mission of The Academies at all times. The Human Resources Director contributes his/her talents to support an excellent school program and positive school culture at The Academies’ schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must complete/attach the following: • Completed Edjoin Application • Target Success Sketch (after application is submitted) • Cover/Introduction letter • Resume • Minimum of 3 letters of recommendation (within the last 2 years) Applications must be fully completed, including required attachments. Completion of Target Sketch Questions are required of all applicants. An invitation to complete the Target Sketch will be received upon completion of the application.
Applicants must possess the following: • High school diploma (required) • Bachelor’s degree or certification in human resources, business, administration, or other acceptable field; or ten or more years’ experience in human resources and/or administrative work; and/or experience in organizational management and/or administrative personnel experience involving supervisory responsibility in the area of personnel and compensation, recruitment and selection, and employee and management relations, preferably in a school setting or nonprofit (desired) • Spanish language fluency (desired)
