Job Summary

Job Summary

Almaden Country Day School is seeking Pre-K guest substitute teachers. This position is Monday through Friday, generally 7 hours a day, between the hours of 7:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Requirements / Qualifications

-Early Childhood Education units/coursework required -Demonstrates success in working with young children (ages 4-6) -Demonstrates ability to interact and partner with parents -Willingness and ability to follow and execute lesson plans -Ability to be flexible and adjust plans, per the needs of the students at a given time -Familiarity with Positive Discipline, Social Emotional Learning best practices -Understands the benefits of teaching 21st Century Skills, including teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, curiosity, ethics, and resilience
