Learn more about us at https://learn4life.org/ How You Will Make an Impact The STEM Teacher serves as the primary site-based leader for the implementation of the Education Technology Plan. This role is a hybrid instructional coach and student mentor, responsible for building staff capacity in digital tools while leading high-impact student programs in Robotics, Esports, and STEM. The teacher carries a small case load and ensures that technology integration aligns with the mission, vision, and "non-negotiables" of the Independent Study model. This position involves collaboration with other instructional staff and school personnel and reports to the Principal or their designee. This position is funded through the Career Technical Education Incentive Grant (CTEIG)
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required. Valid California credential with endorsements for the subject and level assigned or intern eligible. English Learner Authorization required. 3-5 years of teaching or coaching experience; experience in leadership roles preferred. 1+ years of experience with STEM/Robotics or youth-based tech programs. California Driver’s License, DMV pull-notice, or LLAC Driver certification. Knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS) and related Educational Systems Advanced level of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technology applications. Ability to travel in performance of job duties is required.
