Job Summary Valley Christian Schools is seeking a Full-Time Athletic Trainer to work with the Head Athletic Trainer in directing the activities of the high school athletic training program and facilities. He or she will provide athletic training to student-athletes. Must be able to recognize, evaluate, and care for athletic injuries. Must be able to assess emergency injury situations to help determine appropriate treatment. The salary range will begin at $75,000 per year but will be determined based on experience. Please apply at www.vcs.net/about/employment Job Duties - Work with the other athletic trainers in directing the activities of the high school athletic training program and facilities. - Create and implement exercise programs for the prevention and care of high school athletes. - Complete documentation of services provided to the high school athletes administered in the athletic training facilities. Personal Qualifications - Have proven evidence of adequate preparation, background and ability required by the position. - Be committed to implement and enforce policies and follow prescribed procedures. - Have the skill to make and effectively communicate timely decisions. - Have the ability to foster creativity and be responsible for creative ideas. Requirements / Qualifications
- Certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association. - CPR/AED Certification - Experience preferred at the Collegiate or High School level with both boys and girls.
