Job Summary

Job Summary

The East Side Union High School District (ESUHSD) seeks a skilled and passionate instrumental music coach to support in class instruction during the regular school day. Throughout the school year, the coach will work alongside a credentialed teacher at District High Schools, supporting the school’s beginning, intermediate, and advanced instrumental music students. This "instrument specific" role includes preparation and instruction to work towards mastery, contributing to high-quality music education for a diverse student body. May be assigned to multiple sections and/or multiple sites.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications/Certifications: •Experience in instrument specific pedagogy (Winds, Percussion, Guitar, Piano, Strings, etc.), rehearsal planning and implementation •Experience teaching high school-aged students •Experience teaching small group and one on one instruction

Must complete Edjoin online application, and submit Resume and Letters of Recommendation/Reference. Selected candidates must pass fingerprint clearance and provide current TB test results PRIOR to employment.
