Job Summary
WASCAE is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant Instructor to teach adult students in our CTE program. The instructor will provide training in dental terminology, chairside assisting, infection control, dental radiography, patient care, and office procedures to prepare students for employment as dental assistants. This is a part-time/hourly teaching assignment, typically evenings and/or weekends, depending on enrollment and program needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
? Bachelor’s Degree with a State approved Teacher Preparation Component: ? Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License issued by the State of California. ? Minimum of 5 years of recent work experience as a licensed Dental Assistant. ? Strong knowledge of dental practices, infection control, and chairside procedures. ? Excellent communication and organizational skills. ? Valid California RDA license. ? Valid California Driver’s License (if travel between sites required).
