Job Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic aircraft build instructor to lead our hands-on aviation aircraft build program. In this role, you will teach students the foundational engineering, mechanical, and safety skills required to construct functional, airworthy aircraft. You will bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical workshop application, guiding students as they build real aircraft.

Requirements / Qualifications

FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate or experience building experimental aircraft. Hold a valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential in Aviation, or Three (3) or more years of documented aviation industry experience (paid or unpaid) or ability to qualify for the Career Technical Education Credential as noted in the job description. SJVA is able to help applicants earn their credential under certain parameters. CLAD or English Learners Authorization TB Clearance Drug/Substance Abuse Test Clearance upon employment Department of Justice Fingerprint Clearance upon employment Current First Aid and CPR Card can be turned in once hired 3 References with contact information Please attach 3 letters of recommendation and a cover letter.
