During spring and summer, at least 20 hours will be spent doing research on website information to be included on site websites for parents, students and staff. Throughout the year, an average of 2 hours per week will be spent on all other duties as outlined below. Additional time is also spent on securing the translation of information to Spanish. Approximate amount of time in all is 92 hours.

DEFINITION: During spring and summer, at least 20 hours will be spent doing research on website information to be included on site websites for parents, students and staff. Throughout the year, an average of 2 hours per week will be spent on all other duties as outlined below. Additional time is also spent on securing the translation of information to Spanish. Approximate amount of time in all is 92 hours. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Education/Training: Demonstrated computer skills a must Licenses/Certification: Valid teaching credential preferred Experience: Use of Internet and Word in an educational setting Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of Word, email, ability to communicate and work with staff and district personnel, can navigate web, and has basic word-processing skills such as adding attachment, hyper-linking and importing RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain contents of entire webpage • Be an active participant on NCL Technology Committee • Update site news and events • Add/delete time sensitive material • Photograph events, staff and students necessary to keep site webpage up-to-date • Design, gather information and constantly update Home Page including; o Update of Home Page to reflect current information o Fundraisers o Student programs (Athletics, Band, After School Program, etc.) o School programs o Upcoming events o Meetings o Health related information • Gather information to keep monthly site calendar up-to-date and current • Coordinate with District Administration regarding policies and overall content of website and teacher links • Work with individual teachers to design and implement their own class webpage, linked to website, including transferring files to PDF’s monitoring using accepted District Protocols
