Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Educational Services or designee performs a variety of technical and analytical data integration as it relates to the District’s Student Information System (SIS) and State California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS). Maintains district attendance records and prepares a variety of reports. Support software that requires the integration of student information. Trains staff and provides work direction and data application troubleshooting and integration to school sites to assure District, State, and Federal mandated guidelines are met.

Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent Preferred Bachelor of Science degree; preferably in a computer-related field Two (2) years of working with Aeries (or similar) student information systems uploading and downloading data, running queries, correcting and updating SIS data, and generating reports Minimum of one year of state reporting using CALPADS, CBEDS, SIS, etc.

This position is SHORT-TERM.
Hours: 8.0 hours per day, 5.0 days per week, 12.0 months per year
Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Site: District Office
Start Date: As soon as possible

Sick leave and vacation are earned on a prorated basis at a rate of one day per month. A District insurance policy for hospitalization, major medical, dental, vision, and life is offered and required as a condition of employment. School employees must join the State School Employees Retirement System.
California School Employees Association Agreement Article VI, 6.1.3 states: “Voluntary transfer/promotion requests by an employee for an opening shall be given prior consideration over a new employee.” Article VI, 6.3.2 states: “When a new position is created or an existing position becomes vacant, the District shall first offer the opportunity to transfer or to seek promotion to bargaining unit employees.”
