Job Summary
The Custodian/Maintenance/Bus Driver plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained learning environment for students, staff, and the school community. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of school facilities, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, and safely transporting students to and from school or school-related activities in a timely and responsible manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively with students, staff, and the public.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRES: California Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B, with a Passenger (P) Endorsement California Special Driver Certificate (School Bus) Current Medical Examiner's Certificate Current First Aid Certification Current DMV Driver Record Printout Ability to operate a Type I School Bus Minimum of two (2) letters of recommendation Note: Proof of tuberculosis (TB) clearance, Live Scan fingerprint clearance, and all other School Bus Driver requirements must be submitted after a conditional offer of employment has been made.
