PV Elevate teachers serve as "Case Managers" within our Course-Based Independent Study (CBIS) model. Successful candidates will be responsible design personal learning plans, grade assignments, track attendance based on completed work, and meet regularly with students and families to ensure academic success and graduation, and conducting required live interaction sessions via the Buzz LMS Candidates should be highly organized, digitally proficient educators who can provide rapid academic feedback (within 24 hours) and proactively monitor student engagement. While candidates must hold valid credentials, there is a strong preference for individuals with single-subject Social Studies, English, or Humanities certifications to support the rigorous, standards-aligned humanities curriculum required for our secondary students

Bilingual Stipend
The District will provide a stipend of 3.66% of step 1 Column 1 to a classroom teacher if the following conditions are met:
a. The teacher has a Bilingual Authorization or Bilingual, Cross-Cultural, Language and Academic Development Certificate (BCLAD)
b. The teacher is teaching in a District designated bilingual program as designated by our PVUSD English Learner Master Plan or is serving as a MEST teacher in the Migrant
Education program, in the year the stipend is paid.
