Job Summary
The Special Education Program Assistant serves as a classified employee responsible for providing clerical, organizational, and program support to the Special Education Department while facilitating student participation in virtual special education services. This position supports the efficient operation of special education programs by assisting with scheduling, documentation, student supervision during virtual services, technology support, and department organization.

Finger prints/background check is required (if hired) and STREAM will reimburse the cost. CPR/First aid is required (if hired) and STREAM will pay for your class.

Education and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience performing clerical or administrative support duties preferred
• Experience working with children or youth in an educational setting preferred
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and educational technology
• Ability to learn specialized student information and special education systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
EVALUATION: Performance is evaluated by the Intervention Teacher. STARTING WAGE/HOURS: $20.00 per hour.
