Job Summary
The Substitute Custodian provides custodial services on an as needed basis to ensure school facilities remain clean, safe, secure, and well maintained in the absence of regular custodial staff. Working under the direction of the Executive Director or designee, the Substitute Custodian performs a variety of cleaning, sanitation, minor maintenance, and facility support duties to maintain a healthy and welcoming learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. Assignments may vary in shift and duration based on the operational needs of the school. This is an on-call position with no guaranteed minimum number of hours or assignments. The Substitute Custodian must be available to work flexible schedules, including mornings and afternoons, as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, squatting, and kneeling is required.
