Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and dependable Part-Time AP Business with Personal Finance Teacher to teach our for-credit AP course during the Fall and Spring semesters. Because AP Business with Personal Finance is a newly introduced College Board course, we are looking for an educator who is proactive, resourceful, and eager to help build a high-quality program from the ground up. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who takes ownership of responsibilities, responds promptly, meets deadlines consistently, and works collaboratively with administrators to ensure students receive an outstanding AP learning experience. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Minimum of three years of high school teaching experience Strong knowledge of business, finance, economics, or related subjects Familiarity with AP curriculum design and College Board expectations; prior AP teaching experience preferred Teaching credential preferred Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and professional Comfortable learning new systems and independently utilizing College Board resources and other instructional materials Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism Duties and Responsibilities Develop engaging, rigorous lesson plans aligned with the AP Business with Personal Finance curriculum and College Board standards. Design instructional strategies that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and active student participation. Prepare course syllabi, unit plans, assessments, instructional materials, and classroom resources before the start of each unit and semester. Create and grade quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments, providing meaningful and timely feedback to students. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to support student success.
