Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Administrator, Educational Services instructs high school students on the introductory, intermediate, and advanced skills necessary for a career in the construction industry. The teacher will expand and enhance the program using technology, industry field trips, coordination of guest speakers, active participation in student competitions, and continued student recruitment in the Construction Pathway. The Building Industry Technology Academy (BITA 1-4) curriculum will be used to instruct the skills necessary for a career in the construction industry. The BITA curriculum is a recognized elective program by the University of California.
