Job Summary
The position of Early Childhood Education (ECE) Associate Teacher is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibilities for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress. This position reports to the Director of Early Childhood Education.
Requirements / Qualifications
The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 12 college units of Early Child Development. Work experience of 50 days of 3+ hours per day in a child care program environment within the last 2 years. Must possess, or be eligible to obtain, a Child Development “Associate Teacher” (or higher) Permit. Upon obtaining the CD Permit, employee must maintain the Permit. Must possess (or maintain immediately upon hiring) a food handler’s card. Possess and maintain a pediatric first aid certificate and CPR certificate
Other requirements: Vaccinations Required Immunizations TDAP MMR TB Flu shot or waiver Required certificate: AB1207 https://mandatedreporterca.com/training

The Preschool's are located on the Campo Elementary School campus in Campo, CA and on the Potrero Elementary School Campus in Potrero, CA in the southeastern mountains of San Diego County, approximately 50 miles east of the city of San Diego.
