Under supervision, assist in planning and supervising the activities of school aged children enrolled in an extended day child care program; perform related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school; training in early childhood education is desirable; and experience and/or training in pre-school or early child care programs. Candidate must also meet ONE of the following requirements: (a) Two years of college (48 units), or (b) A.A. Degree (or higher), or (c) Passage of the CBEST exam, or (d) Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.

This position is up to 21 hours per week. The assigned work site is to be determined. Start and end times vary based on operational needs and assignment. Typical work hours fall within the following schedule:
• 12:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
