ASSIGNMENT: Transportation Department – 6.0 hrs. per day split shift, Monday through Friday, 10 months per year. Regularly assigned shift will be 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Schedule subject to change; variation in start and end times.) Subject to an added 7% split shift differential on all regular contract hours.

Requirements / Qualifications

Class A or B California State Driver's License with a (P) Passenger Endorsement, California Special Driver Certificate (School Bus), current Medical Examiner's Certificate, and current first aid certification. Must be able to drive a Type 1 School Bus.

REQUIRES: 12th grade education or its equivalent; one year of experience as a bus driver or completion of a school bus driving program; Hanford Elementary can provide training. California Commercial Driver’s License, Class A or B with a (P) Passenger Endorsement, California Special Driver Certificate (School Bus), current Medical Examiner's Certificate and current first aid certification. Must be able to drive a Type 1 School Bus. Must complete a physical agility test and drug test.
