The C’lectives Teacher is responsible for providing instruction, leadership and supervision to students that attend The Classical Academies. This position will support and uphold the mission and vision of The Classical Academies. Additional duties include: - Provide educational leadership to students and parents within the Track C Program’s optional elective classes, known as C’lectives - Provide instruction to students in assigned subject area and deliver student-centered lessons focused on integration of critical thinking, innovation, and problem solving - Post to the C’lectives Schoology page with updated information about what was done in class, resources, support, and homework by the end of each teaching day - Manage paperwork (such as timesheets, progress reports, Schoology posts, emails) - Communicate with students and parents using Schoology and email - Assess the progress of students, and be able to give periodic updates to Education Specialists and parents The Classical Academies is an organization of award-winning, tuition-free, California Public Charter Schools serving North San Diego County since 1999.
