Job Summary

Under the supervision of Valley ROP and High School administration, instruct high school students enrolled in the Valley ROP Health Science program in a classroom setting, which prepares students be part of the Patient Care Pathway. Instruct students in Health Careers classes through Valley ROP. Assignment begins August 2026.

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid California teaching credential(s) 5. Three (3) letters of reference (dated and signed within 3 years) 6. Applicants must meet qualifications and provide all necessary materials prior to the stated deadline in order to qualify as a candidate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Knowledge of current medical/health practices. * Knowledge of methods and techniques of effective presentations. * Knowledge of teaching strategies and learning modalities. * Skilled in verbal communication. * Ability to organize environment and instruction to facilitate learning. * Ability to write lesson plans for individual and group instruction. * Ability to use diverse teaching strategies to meet students’ learning styles, abilities, interests, and cultural backgrounds. * Ability to follow Valley ROP policy/procedure, including maintaining student and other required records. * Ability to follow instructions. * Ability to accept constructive criticism. * Ability to work effectively as a team member. * Ability to interrelate with all levels of community and business partners on a professional basis.
