GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Assistant Head Cook performs skilled assistance in the preparation and packaging of food in a kitchen facility, maintains food service areas, facilities and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition, cooks a variety of entrees, hot foods, salads, delicatessen items, breakfast, breads and desserts at each site, and any other duties assigned. Ensures that kitchen operations are effective while increasing the number of healthy and nutritious meals cooked from scratch.
Requirements / Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent • First Aid and CPR Certification • Food Handlers Certification or Safe Serve preferred
