Job Summary
Job Summary
Under general supervision, utilize standard methods and procedures in the carpentry trade. Responsibilities include skilled carpentry work, encompassing alteration, repair, and new construction of equipment and structures. Make decisions on materials, methods, and tools for projects, showcasing journey-level expertise in carpentry and cabinetry work. Additionally, duties may extend to various general maintenance tasks beyond the carpentry trade as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent - Two (2) years of experience as a journey-level carpenter Licenses and Other Requirements: - Any license/certificate required for trade specialty - Valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's License - An acceptable driving record and qualification for insurability by the District's insurance carrier - Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance - Evidence of TB clearance

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must include three (3) letters of recommendation)
- Proof of HS Graduation (or GED NOTE: High School /GED Transcripts are acceptable)
