Durham Unified School District is seeking a dedicated Mechanic/Dispatcher. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of district vehicles, designing bus routes, schedules for regular bus runs, field trips special events, athletic activities, and drives bus routes. Requirements / Qualifications
Cover Letter Resume 3 Letters of Recommendation TB Clearance upon hire DOJ Fingerprint Clearance prior to hire DMV Pull Notice A valid driver’s license is required; a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements is preferred. District-sponsored training is available for qualified candidates who need to obtain the appropriate certifications. Knowledge and experience of transportation management, vehicle mechanics, and strong organizational skills desired.
