Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Community Schools and Special Programs (DCSSP) in collaboration with the Leadership team, administration, teachers, staff, families, and community agencies is designated to lead the planning, development and implementation of a community school program including overseeing services that support students in all school environments, including special education. The DCSSP is responsible for implementing systems, procedures, and policies, monitoring and implementing projects related to grant funding outside of the LCFF. The DCSSP will support district staff in required reporting for compliance.
Requirements / Qualifications
Teaching or other relevant educational experience, K-8 preferred. Appropriate CA Administrative Credential (including Teaching or PPS). Leadership experience demonstrating readiness to serve the school and district. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate to build and maintain a positive school culture and positive family/caregiver relationships. Ability to understand and utilize data to assist with decision making. Master’s Degree preferred. Spanish fluency is desirable. Possess a valid CA driver license and maintain insurability TB Test Clearance Department of Justice fingerprint clearance must be completed prior to the first day of employment at a cost of $62 to the employee
