Job Summary

The Substitute Instructional Assistant supports teachers in providing a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment during the absence of a regular instructional assistant. Under the direction of the classroom teacher or site administrator, the substitute assists with classroom activities, supports individual and small group instruction, supervises students, and helps meet the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of all learners while upholding the mission, policies, and expectations of Lakeside Joint School District.
