Under the supervision of the Administrator of Educational Programs, the teacher will introduce students to the principles of climate science, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. Students will explore the interconnectedness of natural systems, the impact of human activities on the environment, and actionable strategies for creating a more sustainable future. Key topics include climate change, renewable energy, waste reduction, conservation, and sustainable agriculture and urban planning practices. Through hands-on projects, critical discussions, and real-world applications, students will analyze global and local environmental challenges and develop innovative solutions. The course fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and advocacy skills, empowering students to become informed citizens. By the end of the course, students will have the tools to make environmentally conscious decisions and inspire others to contribute to a healthier planet.
