We have a focus on educating the whole child through outdoor education, art, gardening, and learning in the community and beyond. Job Summary
Dunsmuir Elementary School District Dunsmuir Elementary School is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Part-Time Music Teacher one day a week to inspire a love of music in students in grades TK–8. The ideal candidate will create a positive, inclusive learning environment while introducing students to music appreciation, vocal and instrumental instruction, rhythm, movement, and performance opportunities. Responsibilities include: -Plan and deliver engaging music instruction for TK–8 students. -Foster creativity, collaboration, and confidence through music. -Prepare students for school performances and special events as appropriate. -Collaborate with teachers and staff to support school-wide activities. -Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Experience teaching music to elementary and/or middle school students. -Strong classroom management and communication skills.
