Job Summary

Instructional Aide for the 2026-27 school year, with 1:1 and classroom support. Emphasis will be working on positive behavior support. Instructional Aide Overview: Instructional Aides support Core Subject Teachers by assisting with instructional activities, classroom management, and student supervision inside the classroom, as well as during recess and lunch. Under the direction of a certificated teacher, they reinforce instruction to an individual student in a classroom, program, or other learning environment, and assist with the preparation of instructional materials. They contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Job will continue as long as student remains at the school.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Education (per NCLB requirements) Candidates must meet one of the following: Two years of college (minimum 48 semester units), or Associate degree or higher, or Pass a state or local academic assessment demonstrating the ability to assist in reading, writing, and math instruction.
