Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director/AP of Student Activities, Discipline and Athletics, The Athletic Trainer provides preventive care, emergency response, clinical evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for Palisades student-athletes. The Athletic Trainer also maintains record keeping for injuries, rehabilitation notes and “return to play” protocols and clearances. The Athletic Trainer also maintains inventories of supplies and coordinates purchasing of new supplies as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Resume -Three Letters of Recommendation (no older than 2 years) Licenses/Certification/Special Requirements: • BOC Certification- Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification from either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association • Prior to start, completion of all PCHS HR and Athletic Online Trainings including but not limited to: o Heat Illness o Concussion o Sudden Cardiac Arrest o For continued employment, employees must complete all District, School and/or State mandated trainings and retraining.
