Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Teaching Credential with English Learner Authorization. ? Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. ? Commitment to providing high-quality supplemental instruction for migrant students. ? Commitment to complete all assigned program dates and hours once an assignment has been accepted. ? Completion of all required lesson planning, attendance, assessments, and program Documentation. The first professional development session will be held on Aug 4, 2026, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the District Board Room.

Teachers selected will be offered the opportunity to teach one or more of the following Migrant Ed
programs:
? Extended Day (8/17–2/1; M/W/Th only): 3:30–5:00 (ALI); 3:30–5:00 (LAM); 3:30–5:15 (MYR);
3:30–5:45 (MVMS)
? Saturday School (2/6–3/13): 6 hrs./day
? Winter Academy (1/4–1/15): 5.5 hrs./day
? Summer Academy (6/2–6/23): 5.5 hrs./day
? Pre-K/TK Home- and Site-Based Instruction (flexible dates and hours based on teacher
availability and student needs)
? Other Migrant Education supplemental programs, as needed.
