Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the Daily Substitute Site Administrator provides temporary administrative leadership and support at K–12 schools during the absence of a regular site administrator or when additional administrative coverage is needed. The position supports the safe, orderly, and effective operation of the assigned school by supervising students and school activities, visiting classrooms, assisting staff, responding to student discipline matters, and remaining available to address emergencies and other immediate site needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Licenses and Other Requirements Valid California Administrative Services Credential. Valid California teaching or pupil personnel services credential. Valid California driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Compliance with District fingerprinting, tuberculosis clearance, and other employment requirements. Introduction Letter/Resume/Professional References - Required

Comments and Other Information
Education and Experience
A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in education, educational leadership, administration, or a related field is preferred.
Successful teaching, counseling, or other certificated experience in a K–12 public school setting.
Previous experience as a principal, assistant principal, dean, district administrator, or other school-site administrator is highly desirable.
Experience working with diverse student populations is preferred.
