About the Employer

The Bass Lake Joint Union Elementary District is made up of four schools: Oakhurst Elementary School (TK-5), Oak Creek Intermediate School (6-8), Wasuma Elementary School (TK-8). We serve students from Oakhurst, Bass Lake, Ahwahnee and Fish Camp. At the 2,300 ft. elevation, we experience hot summers all the way to snowy, cold winters. We have some of the best teachers and staff in the mountain area, and our supportive families are very engaged in our school programs. Yosemite is a short drive up the mountain, Bass Lake is a few minutes away and big cities like Fresno, Clovis and Madera are about an hour down the mountain.

Basic Function: Under the general direction of the head cook, perform a variety of delivery, set-up, serving, cleaning, and preparation duties for the District’s food service operations at an assigned site(s); and to function as a cooperative and productive team member.
