Job Summary

Substitute Instructional Aide will, under supervision of the site Principal and/or classroom teacher(s) or designee, perform necessary duties of a responsible nature to assist in the supervision of students within assigned areas and other general duties.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position is on an on-call/as needed basis. Tentative schedule may range between 3.5 - 5.5 hours a day. Education: Must have an AA, 48 units of college credits, or pass the Instructional Aide Assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics. Certification: Possession of a valid First Aid, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate may be required based on job duties such as coaching, working with fragile students, or as otherwise required by Superintendent or designee.
