Job Summary

The AVID Coordinating Teacher serves as the “District Director” for the AVID program and works collaboratively with site AVID coordinators, school administrators, and district staff to support and enhance the AVID program across GUSD sites.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Valid California Teaching Credential DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - An advanced degree in education or another related field - Minimum of two (2) years of AVID experience (teaching or coordination) - Education and/or training that would provide an individual with the knowledge and skills necessary for competent job performance
