Job Summary

Job Summary

El Rio Community School is seeking a collaborative, student-centered School Counselor to support the social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success of students receiving special education services and general education students. The ideal candidate possesses a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential and has experience providing counseling services within an Individualized Education Program (IEP). This position requires a professional who can provide direct counseling services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support teachers and families, and foster inclusive learning environments that promote student success. The School Counselor reports to the Special Education Coordinator and Director of Instruction.
