Kindergarten Teacher Position Overview Golden Hills School seeks a dynamic and student-centered Elementary Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the academic, social-emotional, and physical growth of each child. This role requires a passionate educator who fosters a love of learning, differentiates instruction to meet diverse needs, and builds strong partnerships with students, families, and colleagues. The Elementary Teacher will create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment and contribute positively to the broader school community. Primary Responsibilities Instruction & Curriculum Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum in reading/language arts, mathematics, and social studies for individuals, small groups, and the full classroom Promote a learner-centered approach that actively engages students in the learning process Foster growth in academic, social-emotional, and physical development Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students Utilize and integrate meaningful and appropriate technology into instruction Assess student learning and use data to inform instruction and support student growth Classroom Environment & Student Engagement Build a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated C

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field required; teaching credential preferred Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the elementary level or equivalent experience Strong content knowledge and pedagogical expertise Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Passion for working with elementary-aged children and their families Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to a collaborative, inclusive school environment Demonstrated ability in classroom management and differentiated instruction Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Confidence and proficiency with instructional technology Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand, walk, sit, and engage in active classroom supervision for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 10–30 pounds Ability to communicate effectively and supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and field trips Ability to work in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and varying conditions
