Job Summary

The job of the Accounting & Compliance Analyst – Nutritional Services is done for the purpose/s of providing support and leadership to department activities, with responsibility for analyzing, auditing, reconciling, and maintaining financial records. This position prepares financial, statistical, and budgetary reports and supporting documentation for review by the Director and regulatory agencies; ensures compliance with USDA school nutrition program requirements and established policies; and provides instruction, recommendations, and accounting support to other personnel.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Job related experience with two years of increasingly responsible levels of accounting, fiscal record management and reporting experience, preferably including specialized functions pertaining to program funding accounting. High School diploma or GED equivalent or higher educational degree. Please attach to your application or be prepared to present if selected for a position. Serve Safe to be obtained within one year of employment. Passing score must be achieved on a written examination. Exams are computerized and held at District Office in 29 Palms. Applications must be complete.
