Job Summary
The Self-Contained Special Day Class (SDC) Teacher provides specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom setting. The teacher develops and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapts the curriculum to meet students' unique learning needs, collaborates with families and members of the multidisciplinary team, monitors student progress, and fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. The SDC Teacher ensures compliance with applicable state and federal special education laws while promoting students' academic, social, behavioral, and functional growth.

Letter of Introduction Resume 3 Signed Professional Letters of Recommendation within the last 2 years Copy of Valid CA Credentials, Transcripts and CBEST Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning required Possession of a valid CA preliminary or clear Education Specialist teaching credential Valid TB (within 4 years) Valid CA Drivers License
