Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the District Lead shall provide support, guidance, and assistance to Beginning Teacher Induction Support Providers, Internship Support Providers, Mentor Teachers, and Administrators who provide orientation, guidance, and assistance to new, intern, beginning, and other teachers who need additional development in subject matter knowledge, instructional methods, and classroom management.
Requirements / Qualifications
IN-HOUSE VACANCY Desired Qualifications: • Knowledge of the BTSA/lnduction program standards and assessment standards • Knowledge of the TPEs and TPAs • In-depth knowledge of the California Standards for the Teaching Profession • Knowledge of the California Content Standards and Frameworks • Evidence of effective writing skills to complete required reports and communications • Experience in teacher training, adult learning, and presentation skills
