We are seeking compassionate, patient, and dedicated individuals to serve as Instructional Aides – Special Education (SPED). This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs while working alongside a team of educators committed to student growth and achievement. Under the direction of certificated staff and site administrators, the Instructional Aide – Special Education provides instructional, behavioral, and classroom support to students receiving special education services. The aide assists in implementing individualized learning activities, reinforces academic instruction, supports positive behavior strategies, and helps create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student independence and success.

Copy of Transcript Letter of Introduction 2 Letters of Recommendation(within the last 24 months), one from direct supervisor NCLB Compliance Proof of HS Graduation Resume TB Screening Result The district application, DOJ finger prints, and current TB test are required.

Comments and Other Information
Benefits: District pays 100% of Employee Only medical coverage (up to the Kaiser Traditional HMO High Plan rate) and up to 80% of Employee +1 and Employee +Family medical premiums. Employees covered under another qualifying group medical plan may elect a $4,000 annual cash-in-lieu benefit (or eligible tax-sheltered annuity contribution). Vacation leave accrues monthly.
