Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Education Services, the State Preschool Program Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for the California State Preschool Program (CSPP). This position ensures compliance with all state preschool contract requirements while overseeing program operations, personnel, fiscal accountability, licensing, and instructional quality. The supervisor supports continuous program improvement and promotes high-quality early learning experiences aligned with state initiatives and district goals.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience • Three (3) to five (5) years of increasingly responsible administrative experience in early childhood education or a related program. Education • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Educational Administration, or a closely related field. Licenses, Certifications & Requirements • Valid California Child Development Program Director Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). • Certified CLASS Trainer of Trainers. • Experience administering and analyzing DRDP assessments. • Knowledge of CSPP requirements, California Education Code, Title 5, Title 22, licensing regulations, and current early learning initiatives. • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Valid California Driver's License and evidence of insurability.
