Job Summary
Pacific Elementary School District and Bonny Doon Union Elementary School District are seeking a full-time Certified Wellness Coach for a one-year grant-funded position. The Wellness Coach will spend 2 days per week at Pacific School, 2 days per week at Bonny Doon Elementary, and 1 day each week either alternating between the two sites, engaging with their supervisor, attending to administrative tasks, and/or pursuing other professional development or related activities. The Santa Cruz County Office of Education will provide an appropriately licensed supervisor and mentor. Duties will include: • Wellness promotion and education • Screening • Care coordination • Individual and group support • Crisis referral
Requirements / Qualifications
The Wellness Coach certificate is NOT required to apply. The Santa Cruz County Office of Education is able to support interested candidates with an AA or BA and at least 2,700 hours of relevant experience in obtaining the Wellness Coach certificate while on the job.
